Hilton Convention Center

The Hilton Convention Center is an integrated part of the "Istanbul Hilton" Hotel complex which has been designed by the famous Turkish architect Sedad Hakký Eldem in collaboration with Skidmore Owings and Merill in 1954. The Hilton was one of the company's and Eldem's most famous designs in the 1950s and also one of the earliest and finest examples of modern architecture in Istanbul. The architects were recognized with a Merit Award from the American Institute of Architects in 1956.

Being recently refurnished, the convention center has a total capacity of 3100 guests and a 2850m2 surface area over two floors. The lower level, with a surface area of over 1500m2 and just 4 columns, can be partitioned into three sound proof sections if required. The upper level in turn has no columns and an additional gallery level that adds up to 1350m2.

Having a totally open and flexible floor plan, the center is frequently used for many purposes including: large conferences, congresses, exhibitions, concerts, fairs, award ceremonies, fashion shows, gala dinners and product launches.

The technical capacities include: full air conditioning, background music and public access system, microphones, amplification, stage elements and banquet/conference furniture, spotlights, TV Broadcast facilities, simultaneous translation booth and projection rooms
